An intermediate student, who was returning home after attending a Samaikyandhra agitation, died in a road accident.
The victim has been identified as Baireddy Sudhakar Reddy (17) of Basireddypalem village in Kanigiri mandal. On his way home his bike hit an auto due to which he suffered injuries and succumbed later.
According to police, Sudhakar Reddy was returning to his native place after attending Samaikyandra meeting organised by student JAC at Kanigiri. His friend, Chandrasekhar, who was riding pillion suffered severe injuries and was shifted to a hospital.
