Accusing the Congress and Telugu Desam parties of colluding to divide the state for political mileage, YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu received kickbacks from the Congress high command for supporting the ruling party at various crucial junctures in the last four years.

The Congress government gave away prime land at Ameerpet in Hyderabad to one CM Naidu, who is a benami of the TDP supremo, he said.

Addressing a gathering at Parvatipuram in Vizianagaram district Wednesday, Jagan launched a tirade against the TDP president and elaborated that when YSRC moved a “No Confidence Motion” in the Assembly, Chandrababu Naidu issued a whip to his MLAs against voting in favour of the motion. “TDP Parliament members supported state bifurcation at the behest of Naidu. They ruined the future of the state for their secure future. How can Naidu call YSR Congress as “Pilla Congress” when himself is working in favour of Congress?” he questioned.

He stated that Naidu has lost credibility and will be thrown into the Bay of Bengal by people in the elections.

Elaborating on his electoral promises, the YSRC chief promised to make Andhra Pradesh a power surplus state and provide seven hours of uninterrupted power to agriculture during day time. “We need integrated rural development for sustainable growth in the state, where education and health programmes reach every household. I make 10 electoral promises for all round development of Andhra Pradesh state,” he said.

The electoral promises include `500 per student every month into the mother’s account for her two children;  increase in old age pension to `700; a market stabilisation fund to help farmers; waiver of the loans of DWCRA groups; and governance at people’s doorstep.

Jagan also promised to build a network of super speciality hospitals linked to a medical university, construction of 50 lakh houses in five years, closure of belt shops and employment to every unemployed youth.
