Prasad is AP Vigilance Chief

HYDERABAD: In recognition of his service to the government and clean image in administration for over four decades, vigilance commissioner of undivided Andhra Pradesh SV Prasad has been appointed the first vigilance commissioner of Andhra Pradesh for three years.

Prasad, who was the chief secretary of AP is a graduate in mechanical engineering and post-graduate in business administration (MBA) from IIM-Ahmedabad.

He served the state in various capacities from sub-collector, Gudur. He also worked with four chief ministers NT Rama Rao, K Vijayabhaskar Reddy, N Janardhan Reddy and N Chandrababu Naidu.
