GUNTUR: District First Additional Court on Thursday dismissed the bail petition of the three accused in the case of ragging after M Rishiteswari, first B. Arch student of Acharya Nagarjuna University, committed suicide recently. Taking into consideration the gravity of the case and also the Balasubramanyam committee’s report, which maintained that ragging was clear cause for the death of Rishiteswari, the court dismissed for the second time the bail petitions moved by the accused, Hanisha, Srinivas and Jayacharan, who have been in remand for the last 49 days.
