ELURU: MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) flagged off two new Indra AC bus services between Jangareddygudem and Tirupati, at Eluru Bus Complex, on Sunday.

He said, the RTC should implement more rural services in the district to provide transport facility to the rural public.

The rural people faced troubles due to lack of transport, he added.

The RTC officials introduced the new service. The buses will operate between Jangareddygudem and Tirupati via Eluru, Vijayawada. The officials should introduce more long distance buses from the upland area as people from Chintalapudi, Jangareddygudem, Kamavarapukota and Dharmajigudem areas faced troubles due to lack of bus services for a long journey.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a decision on special status to Andhra Pradesh within two months, he added.

He said, the status was the sentiment of the people of Andhra. Andhra MPs submitted memorandums to PM Modi and BJP top leader L K Advani in this regard, he added.

RTC regional manager Dhanunjaya Rao, Eluru deputy mayor Gudiwada Ramachandra Kishore and corporators were present.
