KAKINADA: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Kakinada (JNTU-K) is all set to conduct separate entrance tests for Kapu (‘Kapu Vidyonnati’) and BC students (‘Anna NTR Vidyonnati’), on behalf of the AP government on Sunday. The exams will be conducted in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Ongole, Tirupati, Anantapuram and Kadapa.
According to examinations convener VV Subba Rao, as many as 1,000 students belonging to Kapu and BC communities will be selected through the entrance tests for imparting free comprehensive coaching for civil services. The exam will be in objective multiple choice model. The results will be announced on June 28 and certificate verification will be held on July 1 in Vijayawada.
