Jagan sidekick Vijaya Sai Reddy hurt in accident

Durga Prasad Raju received serious injuries, while Vijay Sai Reddy escaped with minor injuries.

HYDERABAD: Leaders of YSR Congress, including its general secretary Y Vijaya Sai Reddy, met with an accident when the car they were travelling in overturned in Hyderabad outskirts on Tuesday morning. The party's general secretary, Durga Prasad Raju, Dasarath Reddy, and the driver escaped with injuries in the accident which occurred at Outer Ring Road leading to Shamshabad.

Durga Prasad Raju received serious injuries, while Vijay Sai Reddy escaped with minor injuries. All of them were rushed to Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills. Condition of the leaders is learnt to be out of danger. The party leaders started from Hyderabad to reach Shamshabad airport when the accident occurred.

From the airport, they were expected to reach Andhra Pradesh and join protests taken up by YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy at Eluru, West Godavari, for special status to Andhra Pradesh.
