Vinod Shenoy takes charge as Hindustan Petroleum Corporation's director

Vinod S Shenoy assumed office of the director of the refineries of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited on Tuesday.

VISAKHAPATNAM: Vinod S Shenoy assumed office of the director of the refineries of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited on Tuesday. Shenoy took charge from BK Namdeo who superannuated on October 31. A Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay, Shenoy started his career with the HPCL in June 1985.

During his career spanning over 31 years, Shenoy held various positions in the refinery divisions and corporate departments of the HPCL and had wide exposure in the petroleum industry. Prior to taking over as director-Refineries, Vinod Shenoy was general manager, Refineries Coordination.

Jeyakrishnan new director (Marketing) of HPCL Meanwhile, S Jeyakrishnan took charge as director (Marketing) of HPCL in the place of YK Gawali who superannuated on October 31. Prior to this, Jeyakrishnan he was the executive director (retail) of HPCL.

An alumni of Madras University, Jeyakrishnan joined HPCL in 1981 and has a rich experience of 35 years in petroleum marketing. He attended the Advanced Management Programme at Cambridge (UK) and the Authentic Leadership Programme of the Harvard Business School and played a key role in several transformational initiatives undertaken at HPCL. 

He is also on the Board of Hindustan Colas Private Limited, a joint venture company of HPCL.
