Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation offers skill enhancement training

VISAKHAPATNAM: To provide job opportunities to the students, AP State Skill Development Corporation and Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Makavarapalem, jointly organised Job Mela -2016 on Friday.

It was not only to provide opportunities to the B Tech students but also to the under qualified aspirants who have completed their  SSC, Intermediate, degree and diploma courses.

“AP Skill Development Corporation is offering professional training apart from conducting job melas. The AP Skill Development Corporation has conducted more than 30 job melas in which 80,000 unemployed youth enrolled themselves,” said Sailaja, principal consultant of the AP Skill Development Corporation.

On the occasion, Ch Ayyannapatrudu, minister for Panchayat Raj, said, “The AP government is planning to establish a skill development centre in every engineering college. Apart from that the government is also planning to establish a food processing industry in Ramannapalem at a cost of over `160 crore in 110-acre government land.”

The Job Mela had the participation of many companies from various sectors. In the fair more than 1,800 participated and some of them secured jobs.
