Thousands pay last respects to TDP leader Devineni Rajasekhar

The last rites of former minister and TDP leader Devineni Rajasekhar alias Nehru were conducted at the family’s  agricultural land in Gunadala, near here, on Tuesday afternoon.

VIJAYAWADA: The last rites of former minister and TDP leader Devineni Rajasekhar alias Nehru were conducted at the family’s  agricultural land in Gunadala, near here, on Tuesday afternoon. 

Early in the morning, a host of prominent people from the ruling TDP and left parties visited Nehru’s house to pay their respects and conveyed their condolences to members of the bereaved family.

Devineni Nehru, 63, died after  a cardiac arrest in Hyderabad in the early hours of Monday. 
Thousands of grieving supporters of Nehru paid rich tributes to him at the funeral procession. 

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and many other leaders participated in the funeral.
