VIJAYAWADA: City Police Commissioner D Gautam Sawang suspended Ajith Singh Nagar circle inspector S Prasada Rao on Thursday night for gross negligence in duty and allegations of corruption.
According to police, several people approached the Police Commissionerate and lodged complaints against Prasada Rao for his corrupt practices and his attempts to dilute a murder case, which is yet to be enquired further.
