GUNTUR: The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) will take up several development works in Guntur city. Speaking at an official meeting at the Collectorate here on Tuesday, APCRDA Commissioner Ch Sridhar responded to the request of District Collector K Sasidhar for speedy completion of railway over bridge, Mahatma Gandhi Inner Ring Road, Budampadu and Nallacheruvu tank works.
The third phase of the inner ring road works are yet to be completed from Pedapalakaluru. Later, the Collector inspected the inner ring road works along with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials. He instructed the officials to take up the beautification of the road and the central lighting system from Y Junction of Pedakakani to Chilakaluripet.
Development. Greenery should also be taken up in a big way at Autonagar, Lalpuram and Prathipadu which are entry points of Guntur city, he said.Joint Collector Kritika Shukla, GMC Commissioner Ch Anuradha, NHAI Project Director T Suresh Kumar and other officials inspected different places in the city and reviewed development works.
