VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Road Transport Commissionerate launched the online registration for commercial transport vehicles in the new 1.3 version.
Visakhapatnam deputy transport commissioner S Venkateswar Rao handed over the first online registration papers to the owners of a commercial transport vehicle(BS-IV category) on the RTA office premises here.
On the occasion, the DTC explained that the transport department was implementing the 1.3 version online registration system on experimental basis and if it becomes successful, it will continue.
“With the new 1.3 version of online registration system, procedures pertaining to finance cancellation, name change, finance noting and etc have become easy. For all the vehicles already registered in the 1.1 and 1.2 online versions can also utilise this new version,” the DTC said.
“This new online registration service of non-individual transport vehicles is available only at Visakhapatnam RTA office. No other net centre or other agencies are not entitled to do this. All are requested to note this point,” said Venkateswar Rao.
