GUNTUR: Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) celebrated annual sports day at its campus in Namburu of Guntur district on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, LV Subramanyam, Special Chief Secretary to Government (Sports & Youth Advancement) said that the State government has allocated sufficient funds to improve sports infrastructure.

He interacted with the coaches of Anil Kumble Foundation who are imparting training to students of Viva, a world-class school launched by VVIT.

Ajay Kumar Reddy, Captain of the Indian Blind Cricket team, advised the students to work hard to achieve their goals. VVIT principal Dr. Y Mallikarjuna Reddy gave away prizes to the winners.
