Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams will act as per HC ruling within six weeks: Executive Officer

TIRUMALA: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal clarified here on Friday that they would take a decision on the High Court ruling on ‘Rule of Reservation’ in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and its implications on implementation, after receiving proper directions from the State government and the legal cell. The EO conducted a review meeting at Annamayya Bhavan at Tirumala with all Heads of Departments. 

Addressing the media after the meeting, the EO said only after receiving official directions, it would be possible to review the seniority list and all promotions made by the TTD in various category posts under the rule of reservation. “After receiving proper directions from competent sources, we would review the matter in a period of six weeks as set by the High Court,” he said.  

Singhal further said that rationalisation by all user departments would help extract qualitative services from Srivari Sevakulu. The EO also directed the PRO to widely publicise individual online registration of Srivari Seva for three-day and four-day services also to encourage educated and employed youth, NRIs to take part in service through promos in Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.
