GUNTUR: The National Handloom Expo, 2018 will be held between July 19 and August 3 in Guntur. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the joint director handloom and textiles department Nageswara Rao said 70-80 weavers’ societies will participate in the exhibition and sell their products at manufacturing prices.
He appealed to the consumers to encourage the weavers by purchasing their products and assist the artists to live a good life. On the occasion, the department officials released a poster for the handloom expo.
