GUNTUR: Joint collector A Md Imtiyaz felicitated student K Raja who scaled Mount Everest on May 16, during Mee Kosam programme at Zilla Parishad office here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the joint collector called upon the students to draw inspiration from Raja.He told the students to aim higher and strive hard to achieve their goals. Raja said that he was one among six select students, who had undergone training at Ketanakonda in Krishna district.
He is pursuing B Com second year at Seicom Degree College in Tirupati.In-charge joint collector-II L Vijayachander, Zilla Parishad chief executive officer V Nagarjunasagar, STEP chief executive officer Rajani Priya and others appreciated Raja.
