APMDC gets award for bond issue

The award recognises the State undertaking’s successful entry into the domestic corporate bond market and its financial management initiatives.

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited (APMDC) has received the ‘Best State Linked Issuer’ Award at the ASSOCHAM IX National Summit & Awards on Corporate Bond Market in Mumbai for mobilising Rs 9,000 crore through Secured Non-Convertible Debentures.

The award recognises the State undertaking’s successful entry into the domestic corporate bond market and its financial management initiatives. APMDC credited the CM’s leadership and the support of Finance Department, Industries & Commerce/Mines & Geology Department, financial institutions for the successful issuance.

The bond issue demonstrated the corporation’s ability to mobilise resources while maintaining financial discipline and corporate governance through administrative oversight and regulatory compliance mechanisms.
