NEW DELHI: After seeing media reports about a 22-year-old man, who was suffering from chest pain and breathlessness but was not provided treatment by the doctors at different government hospitals in Delhi, the National Human Rights Commission has demanded an explanation from the Delhi government on Monday in this regard.

“How painful it is to know that a person who is taken to the nearby hospital on time but is not attended by the doctors even in the National Capital. Instead, he is referred to the some other hospital, every time. The Rajiv Gandhi Hospital is a super specialty hospital of Delhi. It is not understandable that the doctors were not available at such a well equipped hospital” said the NHRC in statement.
