MANDYA:  “You had come to our village asking for votes during last elections. But, you have not solved any of our problems”, asked a voter to Congress candidate Ambareesh. Actor-turnedpolitician and three-time MP Ambareesh seeking re- election from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency is greeted with similar queries by the voters.

However, he managed to convince the voters when the aged men continued to come out with grievances and sought answer from the veteran actor in Hosakere. The visit to Marasignahalli was also not encouraging, when Puttalingama, an old women told that there is no good road, power or drinking water in the village. She told Amabreesh that he has not looked into the plight of the villagers. She told that they would vote for him, if he assured to look into their demands.

Ambareesh keeping his cool sought the blessings of aged women.

He said that the people of the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency have treated him with love and elected him three times. Amabreesh maintained that the people of Mandya will not let him down in the polls this time too.

Ambareesh along with his followers held road show and campaigned in Besagarahalli, Chamanahalli and other villages in Maddur taluk.
