BANGALORE: KN Subba Reddy, President of Federation of Bar Association in Karnataka, on Saturday alleged that certain judges of the High Court interfered in the recent elections of Advocates Association of Bangalore

(AAB). Reddy, who was defeated in the elections, said that the Federation of Bar Association would lodge a complaint with the Chief Justice in this

regard. The federation will submit a memorandum to Chief Justice and

demand action against the accused judges. “Some judges in the High Court

and lower courts show judicial discourtesy towards advocates. The Chief

Justice should look into this,” said Reddy. The Federation would further demand

the shifting of family courts from Naya Degula in Siddaiah Road to City Civil Court Complex. It would also demand strengthening of the security arrangements in city civil courts, Metropolitan Court and Mayo Hall courts, Reddy added.
