BANGALORE: In a major relief to BJP MLA C T Ravi, the Lokayukta police filed a report in the Lokayukta special court saying charges of abuse of official power are not proved against the accused.

But, the court recommended cancellation of sites allotted to his wife in alleged violation of rules.

They also gave a clean chit to former KHB commissioner Lakshminarayana and seven others named in the private complaint, citing lack of evidence. A criminal case was registered on December 22, 2011, with Bangalore Lokayukta Police under sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and IPC.

Cases were registered against Ravi, his wife Pallavi,  relatives Sudarshan and Tejaswini, and Lakshminarayan, secretary to CM.
