BANGALORE: The Karnataka Olympic Association presented a memorandum to Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, who also holds the sports portfolio, drawing his attention to various issues facing the sporting fraternity in the state. It may be recalled that sports was not even mentioned in the budget presented by the government in March.

KOA President K Govindraj and other executive committee members met the CM and apprised him of their needs.

“The CM is occupied with various important issues but he has assured us that he will go through the memorandum and address the issues raised,” said Govindraj.
