BANGALORE: The state government which came under severe criticism over Spring Zouk, the three-day rave party, where liquor allegedly flowed like water, participants appeared in nude and banned substances were consumed, has ordered an inquiry and a report into the incident. Addressing the media here on Monday, CM D V Sadananda Gowda while informed that he had sought a report from the Divisional Commissioner while promising action for any violation.
Informing that the district administration had permitted the conduction of the rave party in St Mary’s Island off Malpe coast, the CM said prior conditions were imposed. “We are against anything which would be contemptuous against Indian culture,” he added.
