BANGALORE: Lokayukta police today raided houses and offices belonging to friends, relatives and business partners of BJP MLA S R Vishwanath against whom a complaint of amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income has been filed in a local court.
Lokayukta police armed with search warrant from the Lokayukta Court raided premises belonging to Somashekhar Reddy and Vinaykumar (Vishwanath's relatives), his two friends and a service station belonging to Vishwanath's wife, Lokayukta police said.
Documents pertaining to movable and immovable properties besides bank accounts maintained by Reddy in the names of relatives and partners were scrutinised, Lokayukta police said.
