HDK talks of JD(S) poll sweep

“As the JD(S) has been receiving a good public response, it will perform well in the upcoming polls to the Legislative Council,” said party state president H D Kumaraswamy.

Speaking here on Thursday, he questioned the contributions of BJP candidate D H Shankarmurthy. “Shankarmurthy talks of works implemented during the JD(S)-BJP coalition government as his. But being the higher education minister then, he did not discuss anything with me but says the same anywhere,” he added.

Former deputy Legislative Council chairman Puttanna, too, claimed that the of contribution by BJP leaders is zero. Party candidate S L Bhoje Gowda was present.

Kumaraswamy said JD(S) will register a complaint with the ECI K S Eshwarappa’s statements about the BJP.
