MLA and Karnataka Milk Federation chairman Gali Somashekar Reddy said that the outcome of Bellary Rural B Sriramulu MLA’s 54-day padayatra (walkathon) will be known on Sunday.
He declined to comment further on MLA Suresh Babu’s claim that leaders across party lines will take part in the culmination of the padayatra. “Everything will be known tomorrow. Sriramulu will emerge as a mass leader,” was his reply to scribes on the sidelines of a function here on Saturday. He said that he had participated in the padayatra with Sriramulu in eleven constituencies adding that it elicited good public response, with many expressing interest to join the BSR. He averred that Bellary MP J Shanta will emerge victorious.
