HUBLI: A traffic constable was brutally beaten up by the car driver of MLA Shirahatti, over the issue of the parking of vehicle here on Sunday. Sources said the injured constable Yallappa Shirahatti was rushed to the KIMS hospital for treatment. The incident took place when MLA who had arrived to the city to take part in the former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa’s birthday convention here.
It is said that the constable Yallappa Shirahatti insisted on the MLA’s driver to park the vehicle in parking place provided for it but the driver reportedly denied his request and engaged in a bash.
