BANGALORE: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dr G Parameshwar urged Governor H R Bharadwaj to dissolve the state Assembly following the open revolt by over 60 ruling party legislators including ministers. In a statement, Parameshwar said D V Sadananda Gowda’s government lost confidence of the party MLA’s and had no moral right to continue in the office. Criticising the BJP ministers and the MLAss for creating a constitutional crisis before the budget session, he said, “It would be good if the Governor dissolves the government and keeps the Assembly under suspended animation.”
