BANGALORE: Medical and Engineering aspirants were elated on the completion of the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). As many as 1,16,324 candidates attended the Physics and Chemistry tests on Tuesday.

Students who appeared for the Physics subject found the paper easy while the difficulty levels of Chemistry paper were moderate.

Jyothika from St Gregorious College, Mumbai who appeared for CET said, “The chemistry exam was easy on the whole, but not as enjoyable as the Biology paper. Physics was not tough as expected and had many straight questions. On the whole Maths was the worst paper of all.”

Bhargavi, student from Deeksha Integrated said, “Physics paper was very easy and I did not find it tough as I was well prepared. Few questions were repeated from last year’s paper which will fetch me good marks. The chemistry paper was of medium level and few questions tested the memory power. There was sufficient time to solve the paper.”

Manikanta, a correspondent student opined that the examinations may not be described as easy or tough. “According to me Physics was the best, with well framed questions. Biology was the worst so far as I had not prepared well. I found them all quite good because I studied hard” he added.

Meanwhile for Bindu, student from Deeksha Center for Learning PU college said,  “The physics paper was very simple compared to last year’s paper. Questions asked were  all from the PU syllabus. Chemistry paper was average; I could attempt all the  questions as the time was sufficient.”
