Mass burial at Gulbarga

 A pall of gloom prevailed in Harnoor village on Saturday after the bodies of 13 people, who were killed in a road accident on Sonna-Hipparga SN Village on Friday evening were brought to Harnoor village on Saturday morning.

 Mass burial for all the deceased took place in the village.

 Gulbarga District incharge minister Revu Naik Belamagi announced that the government would give compensation of Rs 1 lakh each to the kin of the deceased.

 Police sources said that due to confusion, the first information of death toll was told to media as 15. But in the night it was found that the number was 13. Six others who were injured are being treated at Basaveshwara hospital.
