K-SET Results to be Announced Today

The University of Mysore (UoM) is finally announcing the results of Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) on Monday.

The University of Mysore (UoM) is finally announcing the results of Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) on Monday.

The university will announce the results four months and 20 days after the test was held on December 8, 2013.

UoM Vice-Chancellor K S Rangappa will announce the results at 11.30 am on Monday, Registrar Prof D Jayadevaraja Urs said on Sunday.

The university is the nodal agency for conducting K-SET which is the gateway for lectureship.

The test will determine the eligibility of candidates for lectureship from the level of assistant professor in various universities, colleges and other institutions (aided and unaided).

The UoM conducted the K-SET in 32 subjects at 11 centres across the state.

The results of the K-SET will be made available on the K-SET centre website http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in after V-C Rangappa announces them officially on Monday.

The candidates will not be individually intimated about their results.

The candidates who pass the K-SET will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of assistant professors in the state.
