The High Court on Thursday disposed of a petition filed by Rashtriya Shikshana Samiti Trust (RSST) challenging the directive issued by the Returning Officer asking it to hand over RV Teacher’s College building at Jayanagar for conducting the ensuing polls.

The college authorities had said they are ready to hand over the PU buildings as the exams have been completed. However, they said they are unable to hand over the entire building.

Counsel representing the petitioner contended that though the Returning Officer for Bangalore South Constituency had issued a notice to the college asking to hand over the entire building, the college is unable to do so as there are exams for the degree section happening during the polls.

Allowing the submission Justice Nazeer recorded the statement and disposed of the petition.
