Karnataka: Senior Congress Worker Killed in Mishap

Gangadhar Pangala (55) was returning from Muloor near here by his two wheeler when an unidentified vehicle hit him and sped away. He died on the spot, they said.

MANGALORE: A senior Congress party worker was killed in a hit-and-run accident at Baikampady near here early today, police said.

Gangadhar Pangala (55) was returning from Muloor near here by his two wheeler when an unidentified vehicle hit him and sped away. He died on the spot, they said.

Also a social activist, Pangala belonged to the Mogaveera community and worked for welfare of the community.

He is survived by wife and five daughters.
