MYSURU: The BJP state executive passed a resolution calling for defeating the corrupt Congress regime to save the state. The meet also deliberated on the failures of Siddaramaiah government.

Briefing media persons here on Saturday, BJP state general secretary Aravind Limbavali said six teams of BJP leaders will tour the state to study the drought and government’s failure in handling the situation.

Terming Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s announcement to increase reservation to 72 per cent as an ‘election gimmick’ to create confusion among backward communities, he said the government is misusing official machinery to win elections.

The meeting also charged the State government as ‘anti-Hindu’ for denying funds for renovation of temples and irregularties in purchase of LED blubs, Yettinahole project, corruption in steel bridge project and for indluging in sand mining. It also criticised Siddaramaiah for creating a constitutional post for his son Yathindra, shielding former Minister H Y Meti and Minister K J George.
