TUMAKURU: Noted actor Prakash Rai paid a visit to a government primary school at Hoysalakatte village in backward Chikkanayakanahalli taluk on Monday. He interacted with the children there and also with the teachers.
While speaking to reporters, he said he has not been actually adopting government schools and instead just chipping in by contributing towards the improvement of the infrastructure.“Who am I to adopt the schools which were set up by the government in a democracy? We should ensure that the schools survive with better facilities which attract children,” he added.
