TRIPUNITHURA: The International Centre for Koodiyattom will organise a rare staging of Jadayu Vadhankam Koodiyattom on 22nd November at the Government Sanskrit College auditorium. This is the fourth act of the famous play Ascharya Choodamani written by Shakthibhadran.

The act will begin with the Praveshikam jointly presented by the characters Ravana, Sootha and Seetha.

Paimkulam Rama Chakyar Smaraka Kalapeedham will present this unique staging strictly rooted in tradition.

Kalapeedham Shalini will assume the role of Seetha, Kalamandalam Krishnakumar will enact the role of Ravana, Paimkkulam Narayana Chakyar will assume the role of Jadayu and Kalamandalam Jishnu as Soothan.

Kalanilayam Sankaranarayanan will handle the Chutti and Kalamandalam Smitha and Kalapeedham Chinjitha will keep the basic rhythm on Kuzhithalam.

The staging of this Koodiyattom is a joint venture with the financial assistance of Thiruvananthapuram Koodiyattom Centre and Kendra Sangeetha Nataka Akademi. The staging will begin at 6.00 pm.
