KOLLAM: The Anti-theft Squad of Kollam SP arrested a three-member gang engaged in snatching chains.  They have been identified as Najumudeen, 24, Vadakkevila, Kollam; Shameer, 25, Attingal and Noushad, 37, of Mylakkad, Kollam. A motor bike stolen from Nedumangad was also seized from them.

  They were arrested by a police team led by DySP P.K. Ramachandran from the SN College Junction. The police also recovered five motor bikes stolen by the gang from the city.

They were produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court and had been remanded in police custody.
