PALAKKAD: It is literary works that enable people to understand life as it evolves from changes.

Therefore, reading good works helps society and time to move forward complementing each other, said writer Mundur Sethumadhavan.

He was speaking after inaugurating the 64th annual day celebration of the Sahitya Pravarthaka Sahakarana Sangham at the national book stall in Palakkad here on Sunday.

He said that the role of the Sahitya Pravarathaka Sahakarana Sangham (SPSS) had no parallels in the publishing and marketing industry.

The formation and growth of the Sangham naturally attracts great attention, he said.

Writer Pallikunnam presided over the meet. Among those who spoke included Pavithran Olassery, P K Balakrishnan, T S Peter, Vijayan Mathur, Sadasiva Marar, Nayanan Nandiode and Rupesh.
