KOCHI: The Kerala Private Medical College Management Association will file an appeal before the Division Bench of the High Court against the Single Judge order nullifying the entrance examination conducted on July 14 by the association for admission to colleges under it.

Allowing a petition filed by one Amina Nahna Justice Antony Dominic on Wednesday directed the colleges to allot admission from the government ranklist. There are 10 colleges under the association.The decision to file an appeal was taken at a meeting held here on Thursday. The association alleged that Mohammed Committee failed to comply with the rules and it didn’t interfere with the admission proceedings.

“We conduct an entrance exam after the apex court granted permission. The whole proceedings, including the schedule of the entrance exam were sent to the committee at regular intervals. However, the Mohammed committee failed to answer any of the allegation by the association, the meeting observed.
