KOCHI: Additional Chief Secretary, K Jayakumar, clarified on Sunday that he had not given any information on the Mullaperiyar dam to Advocate General K P Dandapani.

He was reacting to Dandapani’s statement that, whatever he had said in the court was solely based on information, as well as the records given by the Revenue department and Additional Chief Secretary. “While I was attending the disaster management meeting, the AG  telephoned to know about the water level of Idukki, Kulamavu and Cheruthoni dams. As I had no information about it, I handed over the phone to the KSEB chairman, who was sitting near me. It was he who had given the information to the AG,” he said.
