PALAKKAD: Palakkad Additional District and Sessions Judge P K Haneefa on Friday pronounced second accused Kanakaraj guilty in the Sheela murder case and acquitted third accused Manikandan.
The sentence will be pronounced after the hearing on Saturday.
Kanakaraj was found guilty of culpable homicide, murder, destruction of evidence, house break and burglary under section 449, 302, 307, 392 and 397.
The judge asked Kanakaraj whether he had anything to state before the court to which he gave no reply.
