The updated edition of the Mashithantu dictionary (www.mashithantu.com/dictionary) with more words is all set to herald in Onam. The latest edition of the dictionary, which was first launched in 2007 with 12,000 Malayalam words and 3,000 English words, now contains 65,427 Malayalam words and 90,134 English words. There is a facility now for correcting the minor errors which occur while composing the Malayalam text. The different meanings of a word can be found by a double-click.
There is a provision to directly search for words from a browser. Besides, there is a Malayalam keyboard also on the site. Crossword, quiz and animation of Malayalam words for children are among the additional facilities available on the site.
