Kerala HC to get four more judges

The Kerala High Court is going to have four new judges. The collegium of the High Court has recommended the names of four Sessions Judges to be elevated as judges in the High Court. It is learnt that the Supreme Court collegium has cleared the recommendation and the same has been forwarded to the Central government for further proceedings.

 Registrar General of Kerala High Court Kemal Pasha, Thodupuzha District and Sessions Judge K Ramakrishnan, Kollam District and Sessions Judge P D Rajan and Ernakulam District and Sessions Judge A Hari Prasad are the selected judges. The four entered judicial service in August, 1995.

 According to the sources the process to finalise the appointment will take at least two months.
