The CBI Special Court here on Friday issued arrest warrant against Sattar, who failed to appear before the court, in the Paul murder case. The court posted the case to October 20 for trial.
The commencement of trial in the case has been delayed indefinitely as the accused failed to appear before the court every time the reading out of the charge-sheet was scheduled. It was only last month that the charge-sheet was read out to the accused. The case was registered by the CBI on January 29, 2010, as per the directives of the High Court. Two separate charge-sheets were filed in the case.
