A software engineer was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the Alappuzha beach on Friday morning. According to the Alappuzha South police, Ashik, 32, a native of Sanathanapuram, went missing on Wednesday evening.
The police said that his parents had lodged a complaint with the Alappuzha North Police on Thursday and that a missing case was registered. “On Friday morning, his body was found on the beach. We suspect that he had drowned in the sea on Wednesday evening,” the police said.
