Attack on BJP workers’ houses: 4 CPM men held

Three houses of BJP activists were partially damaged in bomb attacks allegedly by CPM activists at Malayalappuzha in the wee hours of Saturday.

 Police arrested four persons, including CITU district joint secretary Malayalappuzha Mohan, in connection with the bomb attacks.

 The attacks are suspected to be carried out in retaliation against the attack on CPM workers two weeks ago, police said. The bomb attacks took place at 1 am. The arrested were charged under Explosives Act, Arms Act and abetment.
