Express News Service

Air India is putting more of its narrow-body flights, with seating capacity between 120 and 172, into operation in the domestic sector from Kochi.  The Air India notification issued on Wednesday indicated that daily flights would be operated to Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, New Delhi and Mumbai. Six flights a week have been scheduled to Bangalore and Agathi from Kochi.

An overseas sector with narrow-body aircraft will conduct daily services to Sharjah.  For the convenience of the passengers, these narrow-body flights will land in the international terminal at the airports.

The timings in the winter schedule - effective from October 28 - to Sharjah, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi have been changed.

The flight to Chennai will leave at 15:55 hrs instead of 14:05 hrs. To Delhi, the flight will leave from Kochi at 20:00 instead of 19:35, and to Bangalore it will leave at 12:35 in place of the earlier 14:05. The flight to Sharjah will leave at 10:20 instead of 20:20.
