Rajeev Prasad, Express photographer, Kottayam, has won the third place in the Adventure Photography Awards at the Kerala Adventure Carnival 2014, organised by the State Youth Welfare Board, in association with the Tourism Department and Wagamon Destination Management Committee. Joshy Manjummal bagged the first prize while Aravinda Bala, (Malayala Manorama- Idukki) took second place. The awards, comprising cash prizes worth `20,000, `10,000 and `5,000, were given away by Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar. Idukki District Panchayat president M T Thomas, Idukki District Collector Ajith Patel and Shone George also attended.
