TIRUVALLA: Tiruvalla Circle Inspector V Rajeev and three others were injured when they were hit by a speeding vehicle near MC road at SCS Junction here on Sunday. The incident happened when the CI and others were rescuing a car that was involved in an accident near SCS Junction here.
According to police sources, it was a murder attempt.
Jacky Sam Varghese, who rode the vehicle, was arrested for attempt to murder, a police official said.Rajeev, who suffered head injuries in the inicdent, was admitted at Pushpagiri Medical College and his condition is said to be stable.
